Rebirth

My bones are made

of rebirth

A blinding light

holds me in its claws

The darkness seems

like shelter,

but it is really

an escape

I cannot run away

I have to face my fears,

like wildfires on a plane;

if I let them spread,

they will destroy me

If I let them in,

I am the flower in a storm,

delicate, but strong

Despite the rain,

I bloom

with every blessing

Despite the pain,

I am reborn

once more
